White crystal or crystalline powder, pure and odorless. Generally, products have a smell of rice bran and a bitter taste. Soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol. The aqueous solution is more stable when heated at pH 2-4, and can generally absorb 4% quickly in the air.
Used as a nutritional fortifier in biscuits, milk powder, beverages and other foods.
