Colorless needle-like crystals or white crystalline powder. The melting point is 115-118°C. It is insoluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol, acetone and ether, highly soluble in chloroform, slightly soluble in vegetable oil, odorless and tasteless and has stable properties. It is not easy to deteriorate when stored in an airtight and dark place. It is easy to deteriorate when exposed to air or sunlight.
