Medicine

Food additives are also widely used in medicines. Tablet medicines, if no food additives are added, the extruded tablets will be uneven and not smooth and the raw material powder has poor fluidity, making it difficult to flow smoothly from the raw material hopper to filling the mold which result in insufficient weight or difficulty in taking it out of the mold. The capsules are made of edible gelatin which is protein extracted from cow hides and bones. The capsules contain food coloring and food preservatives. If no food preservatives are added, the capsules will go bad before they are filled with raw material powder. For example, if vitamin AD is not added with dietary antioxidants, the oil will smell like oxidation after a few months.
